One coherent story, not a pile of notes
Product Clarity has always captured durable knowledge from your conversations into a project's AI Summary — a growing list of facts, decisions, and market intel. The problem: injecting that raw list into a new chat gave the agent a stack of overlapping snippets rather than a clear picture of the project.
The new Project Brief changes that. With one click, it weaves all your captured notes into a single, well-structured narrative — grouping related themes, deduplicating overlaps, and preserving every distinct fact.
How it works
- Generate. Open a project and head to the new Brief tab (now the first tab on the project page). Click Generate brief and the AI synthesizes your notes into a concise narrative with section headings.
- Injected into chats. Once a brief exists, it replaces the raw notes list as the background context for every new and existing chat tagged to that project — so the agent starts every conversation already understanding your project's story.
- Refresh. As new notes get captured from ongoing conversations, hit Refresh to regenerate the brief from the latest notes. The previous brief is saved to history automatically.
- Edit & clear. Polish the brief inline, or clear it to fall back to raw-notes injection until you generate a new one.
- Version history. Every regeneration and restore is snapshotted. Use the AI Summary's History control to browse and restore an older brief or notes snapshot.
Non-destructive by design
The brief lives in its own field and never overwrites your granular notes — your append-only AI Summary stays the durable source of truth, and the brief is simply a cleaner view of it. Clear or regenerate it any time without losing captured knowledge.
Generation is a manual, explicit action to keep AI credit usage in your control.
